Student Research Rounds, Episode 2 featuring Human Optimization Modelling Lab
The University of Waterloo Human Factors and Ergonomics Society Student Chapter is preparing to host the second episode of Student Research Rounds as part of the series titled "You, Me and the Technology". This event is the follow-up of Professor Lecture Series - Episode 2 featuring Dr. Shi Cao which was held on February 25, 2021. We will be exploring some of the current Human Factors research conducted at Human Optimization Modelling Lab (HOMLab) under the supervision of Dr. Shi Cao. The students will speak on their individual research which spans human factors and cognitive engineering, simulation and modelling of human performance, human-computer interfaces as well as human factors optimization in Virtual Reality, Augmented Reality, and Internet of Things applications.

The event will be held online using Microsoft Teams on March 4th, 2021 at 4-5PM EST. It will involve brief talks from each student at the lab followed by a Q&A session.
