The University of Waterloo Business Continuity Program (BCP) is managed by different units. Business Continuity Planning is the process of developing prior arrangements and procedures that enable the University of Waterloo to respond to a disaster, or major disruption of operations, in such a manner that critical business functions can continue with minimum disruption or downtime. This allows usage of the Business Continuity Plan in many different situations, ranging from minor daily business disruptions to major emergencies.
