Mattermost is an open-source team chat application that has recently been licensed for use on campus.
Joanne will be talking about how Mattermost came to be on campus, how it stacks up to other alternatives and how it may be useful for your team.
Bio: Joanne McClintock is an Information Systems Specialist with the Information and Integration Management (IIM) team in IST since January 2017. She has been working for assorted departments within the university (including Housing and the Office of Advancement) since 2006, with a brief intermission to wrangle servers for the University of Toronto.
Joanne will be on the Mattermost channel for this seminar if you would like to send her questions or you can send them to me ahead of time and she will address them during the talk.
