Overleaf Update
In September of this year, the UW Overleaf portal was launched.
Overleaf is a cloud-based document authoring and collaboration service powered by open-source LaTeX software. Since LaTeX has long been a mainstay in the preparation and publication of technical research documents, its core user base are faculty and graduate students, but our license also includes staff.
In this seminar Steve will provide a brief back-grounder on LaTeX, have a look at the Overleaf environment, and provide an update on how the service is going so far.

Steve Carr is ISTs Engineering Account Representative and has also been the campus support person for LaTeX for the past twenty years.
