Moving to SharePoint 2016
This presentation will provide an update on the planned move of the University’s on-premises SharePoint infrastructure (from 2013 to 2016). The project update will cover some of the changes and improvements to SharePoint 2016, and the process for reorganizing and cleaning up the 2013 environment to ensure the migration to 2016 is as smooth as possible.
Bios:
- Stephen Markan is an IST Consultant in Client Services and the Faculty Account Rep to the Faculty of Science.
- Edgar Vieira recently joined IST as an IST Consultant for Technology Integrated Services (TIS), working on SharePoint support issues. Edgar previously worked as an instructor at Conestoga College and provided technical support at Lutherwood.
- Both Stephen and Edgar are part of the SharePoint Services Management Team.
