It’s been quite the space odyssey, looking for a new location on campus for Media Production Services.  Now we have landed!  Come see our new studio facilities in EC5, a site that needs to be seen.  What was Blackberry’s cellular testing site has been taken over by the Media Production Services team.

In phase 1, we moved into this unique space and are making use of the old RF chambers to produce media content. In phase 2 we will adapt some of the space into a leading-edge professional media studio using innovative media tools and technologies.  Campus needs have evolved beyond traditional audio/visual services, and we will screen some examples of the wide variety of content that we have been producing for academic, instructional and marketing content for Faculties and staff.

We will tour you through the facilities, such as the anechoic chambers that are now repurposed as a recording studio and audio booth, along with our small museum, and more!  We look forward to talking about where we go from here, and beyond!
