IT Seminar - TeamDynamix

Topic:      TeamDynamix

Date:       Friday, Nov 10

Time:       9:00 am – 9:45 am

Room:       MC2009 **Please note room**

Speakers:   Pam Fluttert & Connie van Oostveen, IST

During the winter of 2017, IST purchased a Project and Portfolio Management tool called TeamDynamix (TDX).  A number of departments on campus were invited to participate during the RFP process and provide input into the selection of the tool with the hopes that TDX would eventually be available for use outside of IST. A soft launch of the tool went live in June of 2017.  TDX enables improvements and supports portfolio and project management processes.

Connie and Pam speak towards the needs that drove the purchase of a Project and Portfolio Management tool (TeamDynamix), what has changed since the soft launch of the tool during the summer, what we are learning through various challenges we faced during the soft launch, how we are changing our approach based on the lessons we have learned thus far, and the next steps. A brief demo will also be included.
