UW Scholar
UW Scholar is a new WCMS service that provides dynamic and customizable personal websites for researcher and faculty. Based on OpenScholar, a Drupal distribution maintained by Harvard, UW Scholar’s development has been driven by client requests and feedback to allow researchers at the university to self-create a beautiful website in seconds. This presentation will cover the project plan, benefits, and features, as well as a demo and plans for future development.
Andrew McAlorum is the Manager, Web Development and Support in IST. He provides direction of the University’s WCMS, Portal, open data initiatives, and related projects.
Eric Bremner is a Web Developer for the WCMS team within IST and the lead developer for UW Scholar.
