Online submission and grading offers a number of important benefits for the management of assignments and tests in a course of any size, but especially in courses with large attendance.

* Online submission saves time for students and markers and reduces

   the chance of misplaced papers.

* Online marking eliminates markers waiting for papers to grade.

* Online grades are available automatically.

* Online marked papers can be backed up and be available for student meetings.

This session introduces a new system named Crowdmark which is available free for UW courses.  It is an online system for the distribution, collection, grading and return of assignment papers and tests.

Also briefly introduced will be a companion UW system, the Examination Management System named Odyssey which provides examination printing and seat assignment services.

This seminar will not be webcasted/recorded.
