The Portal team will provide an overview of the new Portal app, showing how they used the hybrid application development approach to bridge the app-web gap and released an Android and iOS app within 8 months. This included rapid development from an existing platform through reusability of code, templates, and server resources from the Portal web project. Synchronization, offline use, SDK (Student Development Kit) in the context of the app, and future developments will also be discussed.
