Programs
Master of Data Science and Artificial Intelligence (MDSAI)
Option: Co-op
The MDSAI coursework program is designed to meet the growing global demand in the fields of Data Science and Artificial Intelligence. The curriculum recognizes the interdisciplinarity of data science and AI, as well as the importance of experiential learning.
Full-time program: The full-time co-op program is structured to include three study terms plus a one term co-op experience where students can gain valuable experience and apply their skills.
Part-time program: The part-time non co-op program is designed to provide working professionals a way to upgrade their theoretical knowledge in data science and artificial intelligence.
Master of Mathematics in Data Science (MMath)
The MMath thesis-based program is designed to strategically leverage the breadth and depth of research that currently exists in the Faculty of Mathematics in the field of Data Science. Graduates of this program are anticipated to be in high demand, capable of conducting research in industry or academia, within Canada and abroad. Through integrating knowledge from computer science, statistics, and optimization, students develop expertise in the field of Data Science and engage in original research.
