Housing

Icon of houseWaterloo offers a wide range of housing opportunities on campus and within the City of Waterloo. On campus housing connects you with others at the University, while living in the City allows you to immerse yourself in the local community. Whichever option you prefer, there are various resources available to help you find a place that's right for you.

On-campus housing

On-campus housing for graduate students is available at Columbia Lake Village (CLV), an apartment-style residence community offering single rooms in 2-bedroom and 4-bedroom townhouses. CLV is a safe, quiet, and conscientious community of graduate students, optometry students, and student families that has lots to offer, no matter what your housing needs are. For more information and to view 360 tours, features and amenities, visit Graduate housing on the Campus Housing website.

Off-campus housing

The City of Waterloo is home to thousands of students each year and by choosing to live off campus, you're choosing to be part of the local community. The Listing Service and Student Classified Ads provide an extensive database of rental and sublet properties in Kitchener-Waterloo, and other Canadian cities. You can also search for off-campus housing in Kitchener-Waterloo through the Waterloo Region zone map. Learn more on the Off-campus housing website.
