Federal Minister of Science visits University of Waterloo

Canada’s Federal Minister of Science, the Honourable Kirsty Duncan, toured the University of Waterloo’s innovative research spaces this week to learn about how innovations developed here will fundamentally change the fabric of society.

“You come to a place like this and you feel the energy of the university and all the fields coming together,” said Duncan. “It’s phenomenal; it’s exciting.”

Stratford campus hosts inaugural Game Design Camp

Students, game designers, developers, educators and industry leaders will join forces this weekend at the University of Waterloo Stratford Campus to compete in developing a novel one-button video game.

The inaugural Game Design Camp will provide an immersive hands-on experience in game design and commercialization. Racing against the clock, teams will be challenged to develop, design and test a one-button game for future development.

Stantec joins Research + Technology Park
