Lailatul Fitri Riva Qoiriyah is a Master of Science, Geography student at the Faculty of Geography, Universitas Gadjah Mada, with an interest in Coastal and Watershed Planning and Management. Previously, she earned her Bachelor's degree from the Regional Development study program, Faculty of Geography, at the same university.
Riva has experience in research related to disaster management, such as community and government preparedness for flood risks, and relocation programs due to tidal flooding. Currently, her research focus is the relocation program as a form of managed retreat in the flood prone area of the Bengawan Solo River Watershed in Surakarta, Indonesia.
