Muhammad Sajjad Rashid is a Graduate Research Assistant in the Department of Civil, Environmental, and Architectural Engineering at the University of Kansas. His research focuses on managed retreat, climate adaptation, and risk-informed decision-making to enhance community resilience.
He has expertise in earthquake engineering, probabilistic risk assessment, and structural performance analysis. His work integrates engineering, and governance to develop sustainable and equitable adaptation strategies for climate-vulnerable communities, utilizing data-driven approaches to inform disaster mitigation and policy effectiveness.
