On November 1, 2023, Rogers Communications, Inc. Executive Leadership visited the University of Waterloo. Building on the 3-year agreement in 2020, an extension of the partnership to 2027 was announced. The agenda for the day included a comprehensive overview of various projects, 5G labs, and an armchair chat between President Vivek Goel and McKenzie to discuss the current state of 5G and phase two of the Rogers-Waterloo partnership.
