Research Interests
My research focuses on the intersection of biomechanics, advanced multiscale imaging, and computational modelling. I am particularly interested in understanding the mechanical properties of musculoskeletal tissues in osteoarthritis (OA). I am particularly interested in developing quantitative imaging techniques such as Dual-Energy CT (DECT) and Phase-Contrast CT (PCCT) to assess structural and compositional changes in joint tissues and correlating these findings with experimental biomechanics (Musculoskeletal Modeling) and finite element modelling (FEA). By integrating machine learning and motion analysis, my work aims to establish predictive models that enhance early OA diagnosis, improve clinical decision-making, and advance non-invasive monitoring of musculoskeletal disorders. Through this interdisciplinary approach, I seek to contribute to the development of personalized treatment strategies and novel diagnostic frameworks in orthopedic research.
