Research Interests
My research interests lie at the intersection of biomechanics, anatomy, and clinical care, with a focus on improving outcomes for individuals with shoulder osteoarthritis through computational modeling, cadevar donor samples, mechanical analysis, and experimental testing. Working alongside physiotherapists and sports doctors has given me firsthand insight into the profound impact degenerative musculoskeletal conditions have on patient quality of life. This experience has fueled my passion for orthopedics and future aspirations to pursue a career in the field. Through my research, I aim to deepen the understanding of different shoulder arthroplasty models, their outcomes, and their effects on surrounding bone density to ultimately address existing knowledge gaps and contribute to more personalized, effective care that enhances the post-surgical quality of life for patients with osteoarthritis.
Education
BSc in Biomedical Sciences – University of Guelph
Personal Interests
In my personal time, I enjoy staying active by going to the gym, playing volleyball, cycling outside and going on nature walks with the oldies at my local elderly care home. In my more artistic pursuits, I love to acrylic paint with vibrant colours and hope to learn how to play the guitar one day. On an average Sunday, you can find me meal prepping and trying new recipes.
