Location

MaRS is easily accessible by major modes of transportation, with direct access to public transportation.

Public transportation (TTC)

• Subway: Take Line 1 to Queens' Park Station
• Streetcar: Take the 506 Carlton streetcar. Eastbound and westbound streetcars stop directly outside MaRS at the intersections of College Street and University Avenue, as well as College Street and Elizabeth Street.

Driving and parking

Underground parking is available at MaRS at a cost of $4 per half hour, to a daily maximum of $20. The MaRS underground lot can be accessed via Elizabeth Street, just south of College Street on the west side of the road. It can also be accessed via University Avenue when driving northbound, just past the Peter Munk Cardiac Centre, south of College Street. Substantial additional parking is available at a host of parking garages and above ground lots within a two-block radius.

Accessibility

MaRS supports the full inclusion of persons with disabilities as set out in the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms, Ontario Human Rights Code, the 2001 Ontarians with Disabilities Act (ODA) and the 2005 Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA).

MaRS will make reasonable efforts and use all means at its disposal to ensure that the information or service requested is provided in a manner that is consistent with the principles of independence, dignity and equality.

This policy applies to MaRS employees, volunteers, contractors and agents that interact with members of the public on behalf of MaRS.

Service animals

MaRS will permit any individuals with accessibility requirements, accompanied by a guide dog or other service animal, to enter MaRS premises that are open to the public.

All service animals must be kept with the individual. Animal relief areas are accessible in the parkette located at 200 Elizabeth St (outside of the East doors of MaRS).
