  • Recommended changes and additions made to the Web Advisory Committee CLF Sub-Group Report (attachment below).

Template

  • Screen width | Observation | Added: standards for screen width have changed from the original design of 800 x 600 to both larger standard sizes and smaller for mobile devices. Some sites have gone beyond the standard’s defined fixed width: larger fixed width, 100% width, liquid.
  • Screen width | Recommend | Added: if implementing variable or greater fixed screen width you must ensure design integrity (ie. collage)
  • Screen width | Future Considerations | Reworded: consider offering alternatives to the fixed width keeping flexibility in mind that will allow an easier adaptation to evolving technology
