The Ontario Research Fund Research Excellence is a program that promotes research excellence in Ontario and supports researchers and their work. As stated on their website, universities, colleges, research hospitals, and on-profit research institutions are all eligible.
All applicants are reviewed with the following criteria on research excellence, research impact, achieving impact, development of research talent, and project management and governance.
As the awardees were recently announced, 11 were Waterloo researchers. Of those 11, 5 of them were our very own CBB members.
