A new position paper on MSD prevention for the paramedic sector is now available. The paper serves as a knowledge base for recommended best practices as prescribed in the Ontario Emergency Medical Services (EMS) Section 21 Subcommittee Guidance Note #10: MSD Prevention. It highlights both engineering and administrative controls to prevent MSD in paramedic services.
Position papers are summaries of best available evidence on topics important to MSD prevention activities, with immediate relevance for workplaces, practitioners, and other CRE-MSD stakeholders. See more position papers available under Resources.
