Work reports

Work reports are a critical aspect of the co-op work term experience. The ability to write a strong analytical report is a transferrable skill that will benefit you in any workplace. Many uWaterloo departments offer work report awards with cash prizes for well-written reports
- Visit your undergraduate department’s website for work report guidelines or contact your undergraduate faculty advisor for assistance.
- Your work reports are normally marked by your academic department.
A minimum of four satisfactory work reports (one from PD and three from work terms) are required for graduation if you’re in a faculty other than Engineering.
If your faculty has other requirements, they’re listed in the Undergraduate Calendar.
Mathematics students
If you’re a Math student, you must submit your work report to your employer as well as to the university.
Your employer will complete and submit to you an employer work report evaluation form.
