Email

The University of Waterloo has two main web interfaces for email. Please select one of the following:


myWaterloomyWaterloo: The web interface for most students on campus and for faculty and staff whose accounts are hosted on Faculty-supported servers.

 

Connect

Connect: The Outlook Web Access interface for faculty and staff whose accounts are on the connect (Microsoft Exchange) server.

 

 

Please Note:

  • If you are corresponding with other members of the university community, it is expected that you use your uwaterloo account (ie, userid@uwaterloo.ca). See Official Student Email Address.
  • Beware of phishing attacks. Phishing emails are designed to steal your identity. They ask for personal data, or direct you to websites or phone numbers to call, where they ask you to provide personal information, such as name, address, account information, passwords, etc. UW will never send you an email asking for personal information or passwords.
