What years were you at ERS/SERS?

2007-2012

What degree did you complete in ERS/SERS?

Environment and Resource Studies

What was your favourite thing about your program/time at SERS?

Enjoying fun times with other people in the program and appreciating the passion of so many of the students there.

What was your favourite course and/or learning experience (and why?) in SERS?

ERS had plenty of electives, so I was able to take advantage of learning experiences through various universities. As part of my bachelor's I studied for a month in Nunavut, two months in Quebec, and one year in Senegal. This diversity of experiences was a meaningful and enjoyable way for me to learn many valuable new skills and ways of thinking.

What are you doing now that is meaningful to you?

I'm finishing my master's in International Affairs at Carleton University and working in research/evaluation with Global Affairs Canada and the International Food Policy Research Institute.
