Join us on Sunday, March 24th from 1-9 p.m. for the 17th annual Relay For Life in partnership with St. Jerome's University!
At Relay For Life, we unite the University of Waterloo community in the face of cancer. Participants of all ages will gather at St. Jerome's University and take turns walking around a track or path to symbolize the perseverance and action needed to improve lives and change the future of cancer forever.
Relay for Life is a party with a purpose. The day is filled with activities, entertainment, food, music, and ceremonies. During Relay, we honour Participants of Hope during our first lap the Lap of Hope. When the sun goes down, luminaries light the track in memory of those we have lost.
All of the proceeds are donated to the Canadian Cancer Society to support research and services for patients, survivors, and families. This event is an opportunity for the University of Waterloo community to make a positive difference in the face of cancer.
