Outgoing delegation meets with Soochow University

A Waterloo International delegation, led by Ian Rowlands, Associate Vice-President, International, is in China and met with Vice-President of Soochow University, Liu Biao and representatives from their international office. Both groups shared their vision on internationalization and providing global experiences and experiential learning to students, in a highly globalized world. The WI delegation, which includes Suping Zhao, International Relations Manager and Special Advisor to China, also met with 19 University of Waterloo students who are completing their co-op term at the Chinese university. Waterloo students discussed gaining hands-on experience in China and cultural perspectives gained during their co-op term.
