University of Waterloo leaders were delighted to host university leaders from North-Western China. Discussions included overviews on the University of Waterloo’s management and operations with a focus on co-operative education, teaching excellence and professional development for professors, online education, research initiatives/joint labs, campus wellness & extra-curricular activities, student innovation & entrepreneurship, and other areas, including joint academic programs.
To better illustrate these concepts, the visit also included tours of the Accelerator Centre, Velocity Garage, Energy Research Centre, and the Tatham Centre.
