Morgan Receives OGS!

Congratulations to Morgan Robinson for receiving an Ontario Graduate Scholarship!

Congratulations to Brenda Lee, PhD Candidate in Biology (Nanotechnology), for receiving one of this year's WIN Nanofellowships for her interdisciplinary work with antimicrobial peptides.

Congratulations to Brenda Lee on having the best PhD Seminar at the Biology Graduate Student Symposium that took place on Friday, April 29th.

The title of her talk was "Binding and Insertion Studies of Antimicrobial Peptide Daptomycin and Derivative CB-182,462 with Model Lipid Monolayers and Membranes".

Congratulations to Brenda Lee on being awarded an Ontario Graduate Scholarship (OGS) and University of Waterloo's President's Graduate Scholarship (PGS) for 2016!

Congratulates to Morgan Robinson, our MSc Biology candidate, for winning a travel award to the 2016 Biophysical Society Meeting in Los Angeles, US. He presented our lab's work on atomic force spectroscopy for testing amyloid-beta aggregation inhibitors.

Congratulations to Dr. Elizabeth Drolle and Dr. Robert Henderson for successfully defending their PhD theses today!

Dr. Drolle will be starting a post-doctoral fellowship at the University of Waterloo's Centre for Contact Lens Research in July.
