Mission Statement
The Department of Music seeks to engage students in the study of music within the context of the liberal arts, equipping them with the skills, knowledge, and a multi-dimensional understanding of music that are appropriate to their particular interest in and commitment to the discipline, and that will allow them to move successfully into careers in a variety of professional areas.
