Continuing in our drive to establish Indonesia as a regional centre of excellence in Actuarial Science and Risk Management, READI has been working successfully with many dedicated and enthusiastic partners. High schools, universities, industry, Indonesia’s professional actuarial association, and government agencies have all played a role in increasing the number and quality of Indonesian actuarial science graduates; a critical factor in strengthening the actuarial profession in Indonesia. Giovanni was READI's first graduate from the READI MactSci Scholarship program at the University of Waterloo. Since graduating from the MActSci program, Giovanni has continued lecturering actuarial science at her hom university, Universitas Pelita Harapan, but has also worked closely with READI's future scholarship participants. In this video, Giovanni speaks on how being an actuary not only provide a bright future as a career but could also gives benefits to society and the state.
