Global connections
Waterloo programs help international students improve language skills and build relationships.
The International Student Experience Team runs programs designed to support international students at the University of Waterloo. The Global Representative program helps new students connect with current students from their home country before they start university while the International Peer Mentor program pairs international students with upper-year students who help them navigate the campus and the community. Both the English Conversation Partners program and the English Conversation Circles help students improve their language skills and make new friends.
