As a department chair, associate chair, director, or associate dean, you play a key role in shaping the University’s future, and philanthropy is an increasingly important lever for advancing Waterloo’s mission and vision.
Colleagues from Advancement will host our May 14th session, designed to give academic leaders a clear, practical understanding of how Advancement works at Waterloo and how your leadership directly influences fundraising success and alumni engagement that support both departmental and institutional priorities.
The informative and engaging components will include:
- The role of Advancement and how we partner and collaborate with academic leaders to build compelling philanthropic opportunities
- The University's campaign - purpose, progress, and why your involvement matters
- A walk through of the Donor Journey and how academic insight shapes donor relationships
- Q&A and open discussion
This session aims to demystify Advancement and will serve as a foundation for future learning opportunities that will be offered over the course of campaign.
