Leading Change Part 1: How to Reduce Thought load, Unlock Capacity, and Support Your Team in Times of Change
Location: E7, MBET classroom (E7-2324/2328)
Facilitator: Liane Davey
Description
You’re leading your team through one of the most significant changes in the organization’s history. Although it’s only the start of the “journey,” people are already distracted, triggered, and burned out. You need a path forward to help you manage—manage yourself and manage your team. The good news is that there are evidence-based strategies you can use to focus attention, reduce anxiety, and conserve energy. There is a way to create calm within the chaos.
In the first session, we’ll focus on strategies to help you manage your own experience of the demanding time, including how to:
- keep your eyes on the prize and make your time work for you
- process the emotional onslaught and protect sound decision-making
- work toward a healthier energy balance sheet; increase assets and reduce liabilities
