Native copper with silver

Chris Miedema, a teacher at Ashbury College, Ottawa sent in this photo of a mineral sample containing native copper with silver. The mineral is from Houghton County, Michigan. Chris uses the specimen as a natural example of how elements found in the same column of the periodic table can have similar properties.
