Katie Plaisance facilitates workshop on developing a Collaboration Plan for new interdisciplinary teams

CoLab director Katie Plaisance facilitated the workshop “Interdisciplinary Team Collaboration Planning” for newly funded teams in the University of Waterloo’s Future of Work Institute. The workshop introduced participants to collaboration plans and guided them in working together to create a shared vision, discuss team norms and expectations, and identify potential pain points that might arise during collaboration (e.g., co-authorship norms). The workshop also reviewed common challenges in interdisciplinary collaborations and discussed strategies for overcoming them.
