A new paper sharing findings from CoLab’s research on Engaging Philosophy with Science has been published in Synthese! The article, “How philosophy of science can enhance research in science and engineering: the benefits, challenges, and ideal conditions for philosophy-STEM collaborations,” uses interviews with 20 scientists and engineers who have collaborated with philosophers of science to discuss the benefits that can emerge from philosophy-STEM collaborations, the barriers participants experienced, and success conditions for collaborations. Key findings from the paper are also available in a research brief.
