Professor John Montesano was invited to serve as a Guest Editor for the Special Issue "Mechanical Characterization of FRP Composite Materials" for the MDPI peer-reviewed journal Materials (Impact Factor 3.057).

The CRG was delighted to host Professor Pascal Hubert from McGill University during his visit. Dr. Hubert is a Professor in Mechanical Engineering and the holder of a Werner Graupe Chair in Sustainable Composite Manufacturing, and is internationally renowned for his work in this field.
The University of Waterloo Advanced Manufacturing Consortium (AMC) node hosted academics and industrial partners during the Fall 2019 Industry Day event. Members of the CRG attended the event and engaged with current and prospective industrial partners.
A collaboration between the CRG and Prof. Alfredo de Faria's group at the Instituto Tecnológico de Aeronáutica (ITA) in São José dos Campos, Brazil, initiated with joint visits by Professors de Faria and Montesano to their respective institutes.
