Lynn Long

Lynn Long, the Senior Education and Learning Specialist, joined the Conflict Management and Human Rights Office (CMAHRO) in 2009.  Lynn’s work focuses on informal responses to conflict including workplace assessments, conflict coaching, and diverse educational initiatives aimed at building competency in and capacity for responding to conflict effectively.  With over 20 years of experience in adult education, a B. Sc. and B. Ed. from Western University, a MAIS (Adult Education focus) from Athabasca University and a Certificate in Conflict Management and Mediation, Lynn is passionate about exploring new and more effective ways to support University of Waterloo community members (faculty, staff and students) in establishing and maintaining strong relations.  She also loves cycling, rock climbing, camping, and spending time with her family.
