Award description:
The Three Minute Thesis (3MT) Competition is an annual university-wide competition for research-based Master's and Doctoral students at the University of Waterloo. Competitors have one static slide and three minutes to explain the breadth and significance of their research to a non-specialist audience. Winners of the First Place and Runner Up Awards will be selected by a panel of judges at the university-wide 3MT final competition. The first Place winner will receive an award of $1,000 and the Runner Up will receive an award of $500.
