Prospective students

If you’re interested in joining my research group, please read the following carefully:

  • PhD Students:
    • I supervise PhD students in both Statistics and Computer Science.
  • Master's Students:
    • I do not accept Master’s students in Computer Science. However, I supervise students in the Computational Mathematics (CM) program. This is a funded, research-based, intensive one-year program that can be extended with two terms of co-op. I also supervise Master’s students in Statistics, but you do not need to apply directly for a thesis-based Master's in Statistics. Students should first enroll in the course-based program, with the option to switch to a thesis-based program (with a supervisor) after acceptance.
  • Instructions (Fill out the form below, Do not email me):
    • If you are interested in the CM Master's, or a PhD in CS or Statistics, please fill out the Application for Research Collaboration or Graduate Position form. There is no need to email me directly. If I find your application promising, I will contact you within approximately two weeks. If you do not hear from me, it means I am unable to proceed with your application at this time. Unfortunately, due to the high volume of applications, I may not be able to respond individually to everyone.
