Edson Kenzo Takei

Edson Takei is a Software Engineering student at York University and a research assistant at the School of Public Health Sciences at the University of Waterloo. His research interests lie at the intersection of artificial intelligence and healthcare. Edson has academic and applied research experience in data analysis, bioinformatics, and digital public health through research projects at the University of Waterloo and McGill University. Currently, under the supervision of Dr. Helen Chen, he is engaged in research  that explores the applications of GenAI in public health settings.
