Edson Kenzo Takei

Edson Takei is a third-year Software Engineering student at York University and a research assistant at the School of Public Health Sciences at the University of Waterloo. His research interests lie at the intersection of artificial intelligence and healthcare. With six years of research experience, Edson has collaborated with mentors from esteemed institutions in Canada and Brazil. Currently, under the supervision of Dr. Helen Chen, he is engaged in a research project that explores the applications of machine learning in understanding the treatment journey of patients suffering from chronic non-cancer pain.
