Kunal Karkhanis is a third-year undergraduate student enrolled in the Health Studies program (minor in gerontology) at the University of Waterloo. As part of the UbiLab, Kunal has volunteered for a research project that involved using persuasive technology in the Canada Covid Alert contact-tracing app. His research interests include data science and using AI to develop technologies for people living with dementia. Kunal is currently part of the Greenhouse Workplace Innovation Program where he is working on developing a software for waitlist management. Kunal likes cooking, reading, and playing a variety of musical instruments in his free time.
