Shahan Salim

Shahan is a graduate of the School of Public Health Sciences at the University of Waterloo. His research interests are focused on the design, development, and implementation of public health surveillance technologies. He is particularly interested in harnessing artificial intelligence (AI)-based ecosystems to generate novel (big) data streams for (digital) epidemiological purposes.
