The Black Hole Experience
Ever wonder what it’s like inside a Black Hole? Well, you can find out…sort of. The Black Hole Experience by Age of Union is a mobile immersive exhibition premiering in Waterloo Park for the city’s annual Lumen festival on September 21.
In the Penal Colony: Performance and Symposium

Centre for Peace Advancement 10th Anniversary
The Kindred Credit Union Centre for Peace Advancement will celebrate it's 10-year anniversary on International Day of Peace, September 21st. This also marks the kick-off for Peace Week 2024.

Partnerships for Employment (P4E) Job Fair
Partnerships for Employment (P4E) hosts the largest job fair event of its kind for students in the country. P4E Job Fairs are a collaborative effort among the University of Waterloo, Wilfrid Laurier, University of Guelph and Conestoga College to connect employers with students. Students can speak to prospective employers about job prospects and students and alumni from all programs are encouraged to attend. Visit the P4E website for a full list of organizations at the fair. Admission is restricted to students and alumni from a degree/diploma program at Conestoga College, the University of Guelph, the University of Waterloo or Wilfrid Laurier University.
"Is this thing on?" Tips and tech for public presentations
Whether you’re hosting a forum, teaching a guest lecture, or giving a conference paper, this workshop will prepare you to give or facilitate public presentations. Theatre technician Emma Alderman will orient you to a variety of microphones and projection devices; communication prof Jordana Cox will offer techniques for using your breath and voice.
