Jennifer Marshman

PhD student

Jennifer has worked as a Registered Nurse in a number of areas including Cardiology and Infection Prevention and Control. After working in healthcare since 1998, Jennifer completed a Master of Environmental Studies in Geography and Environmental Management in 2015, in the Faculty of Environment, at the University of Waterloo. She is now working on a PhD in Geography at Wilfrid Laurier University and is particularly interested in supporting and promoting urbaculture and food friendly neighbourhoods in Waterloo Region. Jennifer is a board member on the Waterloo Region Food System Roundtable and the Co-Founder of the Tri-Cities Gleaners Guild. She is seeking transdisciplinary research collaborations, particularly those involving food and food systems, health, environment and sustainability issues.
