WHAT IS FUSION?
Fusion is an interdisciplinary conference that brings together the worlds of science, business, and technology under a shared challenge. Participants explore how ideas become impactful solutions, from discovery and innovation to implementation and commercialization, while collaborating across disciplines to address pressing real-world issues.
This year’s keynote speaker will bring deep insights from both scientific research and innovation in the global tech sector, offering students a unique perspective on translating academic discovery into industry impact.

EVENT BREAKDOWN
The conference is an innovative and collaborative event that consists of speeches by industry leaders, interactive networking sessions with professionals from various industries, and a case competition where delegates can obtain skills that they can apply to workplace settings.
Delegates will have the opportunity to hear various presentations from industry leaders. The aim of the presentations is to interactively educate the delegates on the theme; both experts and beginners will find it valuable to hear from the influential speakers at the conference.
The networking session provides delegates with the chance to network with professionals in various industries and build connections with like-minded individuals.
The case competition is a team activity where delegates prepare a creative solution to the given case relating to this year’s theme. Delegates will be presented a case study during the Fusion Bootcamp.
CASE COMPETITION
The Fusion Case Competition challenges participants to apply science, business, and technology perspectives to solve a real-world problem aligned with the conference theme.
The competition emphasizes impact, feasibility, and creativity, while encouraging participants to bridge science, business, and societal needs.
All presentations and slide decks will be created and submitted on the day of the competition. Top-performing teams will be selected to present their solutions to the audience and a panel of judges.
Please note: while you are welcome to form a team in advance, it is not required. Each participant must register individually, regardless of team arrangements.
