Batyr Arystanbekov

Batyr is a PhD student in Computer Science at Nazarbayev University and an ML researcher at the Institute of Smart Systems and Artificial Intelligence (ISSAI). He holds a B.S. in Applied Mathematics and an M.S. in Data Science.

His work centers on NLP, large language models, and multimodal generative AI. At the Generative AI for Health Lab, he mostly contributes to the technical side of clinical AI, including medical speech recognition and language processing.
