Mikayla Neeb is a candidate for an MSc in the School of Public Health Sciences under the supervision of Dr Helen Chen. Mikayla earned a BSc in Physics, specializing in Astrophysics, from the University of Waterloo and worked as a laboratory technician before returning to the University of Waterloo for her masters.
Her current work is investigating the use of LLMs as assistive agents in qualitative coding, with a particular emphasis on evaluating LLM generated codes in the context of qualitative foundations.
Research Interests
- Responsible use of LLMs, particularly in qualitative research
- Use of Reddit data for public sentiment analysis
- Long-term management of chronic pain
