Onur holds an MSc degree in Management Sciences from the University of Waterloo specializing in Operations Research. His master’s research focused on airline crew scheduling under uncertainty where he developed optimization models to improve reliability in large scale systems.

He is passionate about the intersection of data, optimization, and decision making within healthcare information technologies. He is always looking for ways to apply agentic AI and optimization to real world challenges. Currently, he contributes to the GenAI for Health Lab through software development and solving scheduling problems in healthcare by applying his background in operations research and data analysis.

Outside of work, Onur is a chess enthusiast and he loves watching team sports.
